Biography

Ms. Nikita Mehta is a faculty for Finance and Accounting for graduate and undergraduate students of Management. She has experience in Corporate Sector, Business Analyst for designing Finance application as well as an Analyst for a Finance Broking company where she was involved in the core team of Portfolio Construction and Marketing team for High Networth Individuals. She joined Navrachana University in June 2013 as an Assistant Professor.

  • Pursuing her Ph. D from Navrachana University, Vadodara
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Institute for Technology and Management, Navi Mumbai
  • Bachelors in Business Administration from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat

Teaching and Accomplishments

  • She teaches Finance and accounting related subjects. Her area of interests is Capital Market and Portfolio Management. She strives to give practical exposure in the area of Stock Market through various simulations. She is involved in co-ordination of BBA, B. Com and BBA-LLB program offered by School of Business and Law.
  • She has been instrumental in Industry Connect through an association with National Stock Exchange. NUV is now a skill development centre of NSE. NUV and NSE jointly offer short term courses in Capital Markets. She is currently appointed as a representative of Bombay Stock Exchange for Financial Literacy. The program is funded by BSE as BSE’s Investors Protection Fund.
  • Currently she is pursuing her Ph. D from Navrachana University in the area of banking sector with special focus on Non Performing Assets.
